Leslie Hull-Kimball is a Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist who provides individual, family, and group therapy for adults and teenagers. Utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches such as solution-focused, task-centered, cognitive-behavioral, as well as psycho-educational information, Ms. Hull-Kimball assists individuals in addressing specific needs to improve their life skills.
Key Specialties Include
Prior to joining PettigruCounseling Center in 2010, Ms. Hull-Kimball served for six years as a clinical liaison for the Department of Juvenile Justice and Mental Health. She is recognized as a mental health expert for Greenville County Court and has been previously recognized by her peers at The Greenville Mental Health Center as the Child, Adolescent, and Family Therapist of the Year. Additional experiences includes working with Juvenile Drug Court; providing psycho-educational information and therapeutic support for parents of teens dealing with substance abuse issues; and working with a local hospice providing loss and grief counseling for terminally ill patients and their families.
Ms. Hull-Kimball has been a practicing clinician since 2002. She holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Converse College. Ms. Hull-Kimball completed her licensure as an LISW-CP Supervisor in 2008.
Ms. Hull-Kimball and Sarah B. McGuire are two of three practicing Certified Sex Addiction Therapists (CSAT) in the Upstate of South Carolina.
